Story

Welcome to our Justgiving page!

Bet you thought facebook was about socializing... so did we until Jane asked if anyone fancied a challenge and the next thing we knew we were signed up to the OXFAM TRAILWALKER 2010

The trailwalker is a massive challenge, 100km (62.4miles) walk in under 30 hours along the South Downs in teams of four. The walk is organised by Oxfam and we will set off Saturday 17th July 2010 and walk until we finish (well apart from cups of tea from our support crew) the next day, yes including overnight!

So the team... Midwife Crisis... we all work at the same hospital as midwives - the name is making sense now isn't it???

This is not a challenge we are taking lightly... it's MASSIVE and will involve a LOT of training and hard work. Plus we've been warned by people in the know that there will be a certain degree of chaffing and blisters to contend with... good job we are medically trained!
