This weekend I will be swimming a mile on Lake Windermere.  Anyone who knows me knows I am no mermaid and the thought of open water is just not my idea of fun BUT I will be swimming for a fantastic charity who do amazing work.  When I swim this weekend I will be thinking of some amazing people who have fought the brave fight and some who continue to fight it.  I dedicate my swim to the amazing Angela O'Hara, my lovely friend Christine Jobson, my Mum-in-Law Ann Gilhespy and the super brave Helen Kersey.  Everytime I feel scared or think I cant swim another stroke I will think of you all!!! 

If all my facebook friends just donated a couple of pounds then this would make a big difference to a fantastic charity....please help if you can.
