George passed away peacefully at home on Thursday 8th August 2019 with loved ones by his side, following a short battle with cancer.

His funeral service will be held on Friday 16th August 2019 at 10.30am at St James Anglican Church, Wilson St, Broken Hill, New South Wales.

He is the loved husband of 50 years to Celia (dec'd) and five years to Ruth (dec'd), who both passed following battles with cancer.

George was the much loved father of six girls, grandfather of 14 and great grandfather of 18.

George spent 22 years in the British Royal Air Force before moving to Australia with his wife, Celia and their six daughters. He continued his nursing career working in both the public and private health industry in New South Wales and Queensland, Australia before finally retiring in Broken Hill where he had settled with Ruth.

He loved travel and was able to visit more than 14 countries both for work and pleasure during his lifetime.

His family have requested that donations be made to the Australian Cancer Research Foundation in lieu of flowers. These donations will continue Dad's work in health care following his work of 48 years.
