Our mission is to provide young carers with the support, friendship and opportunities that every child deserves. Young carers are incredibly selfless, the love and compassion they show for their family is humbling. However being a young carer can lead to high levels of stress, worry and loneliness. Through our Making Memories programme and our R&R Retreat Centre we give young carers the chance to take a much needed break from their caring responsibilities. Emberly became a young carer 2 years ago when I fell ill and needed support with memory and household tasks.  Emberly helps me with my medication, cooking some meals, walking out and about, helping me be safe inside and outside of the house when her Daddy is at work.  She has had to take on so much for someone so young but MyTime are always there for us both.  Emberly really enjoys the interaction with the other children and the adults, and it helps her realise that she is not alone in this.  Her confidence and self esteem has grown since she has their support and I could not be more proud of how my little girl is helping us as a family.  Thank you MyTime.
