Story
I am walking 40K across the South Downs on the 10th May 2014 in aid of Reverse Retts - yes me! As you are probably aware, I am not known for my love of exercise so this is going to be a HUGE challenge for me. I am in training already and really enjoying it.
Rett Syndrome is a debilitating disorder which most often strikes previously healthy girls just after they have learned to walk and say a few words. Their development is dragged backwards and girls are left locked in their own bodies that won't work, leaving them with no purposeful movement. But there is hope. Rett Syndrome has already been reversed in the lab. With your help, we can build a brighter future for our girls. Numerous research projects now run concurrently and our aim is focussed to reverse Rett Syndrome.
I would love to raise as much as I can for this fabulous cause so please donate if you can. Thanks Jen xxx
