Story

Hello peeps,

In September 2011, I will be mountaineering for mums, and climbing high for babies, as I am going to march up the Himalayas to raise money for the White Ribbon Alliance. The White Ribbon Alliance is an international coalition bound together by a common goal: to ensure that pregnancy and childbirth are safe for all women and newborns in every country around the world.

By keeping mums healthy, we help keep babies healthy. By keeping babies healthy we keep the adults of tomorrow healthy. By helping me to raise this money, you will be helping to give babies the best start to life.

So, what will I be doing to earn your donations? Well, myself and a like-minded team of lovely ladies are going to spend seven days trekking in the Himalayas. We will be walking 7 to 8 hours each day, with three ascents each day (eek). To find out exactly what we are doing just click here (yes, there).

Thanks for your help. I love you all.

Best Wishes
From Jen

About the charity

White Ribbon Alliance UK prioritises the sexual and reproductive health and rights of all people, but with a focus on those who face the most significant disadvantage in sexual and reproductive health outcomes. We recognise that women, gender diverse people and girls have been marginalised significantly and that the voices of those who have faced adversity are those that we should prioritise in our work.
