I can't believe I am running a half marathon.

This time last year I was over 3 stone heavier (yes really!) and would have bet a LOT of money that I would never, ever run 13.1miles in my life but yet here I am!

I am sincerely proud of what I have achieved over the last year in getting fit and healthier and this challenge is just the next step for me.

I have chosen to run for the charity Women's Aid.

On average 2 women a week are killed by a male partner or former partner, women’s aid strive to help women and children in danger. Your support will be a huge help to their vital work.
