I am joining word record holder and adventurer, Mark Beaumont on his epic Highland Line Challenge for The STV Appeal. From the 1st-10th June 2013 Mark will be travelling over 210 miles across Scotland  to raise as much money as possible for children in Scotland who are living in poverty. I will be doing my bit and joining him on part of the challenge.

Supporting the STV appeal is so important as it really raises awareness of the shocking levels of child poverty still very much in existence in Scotland today and gives us a chance to do something about it. Knowing every penny raised will go towards helping the children makes all the fundraising even more worthwhile. Mark is taking on an incredible challenge and I can't wait to get involved in a small part of his mammoth challenge
