Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. I've thought about doing the marathon for some time and decided to take the plunge this year. I've suddenly realised just how far 26 miles is but there is no going back!

My nominated charity is Elimination of Leukaemia Fund (ELF) which works tirelessly to find cures and treatments for Leukaemia and other blood cancers. Our youngest son, Oliver, had a major, potentially life-saving, operation a couple of years ago and it hit us hard that children are not immune from the threat of cancer, particularly leukaemia.

I am deeply grateful for the skill of the doctors who operated on my son and running the marathon allows me to raise vital funds for this important work.
