I'm embarking on a 50 mile bike ride in the New Forest  on Saturday 7th August, to help raise some money for 'The Walk Centre' that helps people help themselves to a bit better life in Kenya. www.thewalkcentre.org. I thought Amy, a lovely girl I know from tennis, asked me if I wanted to cycle 5 miles with her one weekend so I said yes,now I cannot get out of it! I've been training hard, I read abook about the tour de France and it said that the riders consume over 12000 calorories a day. Pah! I'm already consumming more than that and I'm pretty confident I'll be able to take my stabilisers off before the day.
