We fund life saving medical research to beat the world's biggest killers.

Story

Hi There,.

As a little boy I could not run around the fields with my friends. My concerned parents noticed something was wrong and took me to see some specialists who discoved I had a heart defect. The doctors insisted I wait until I was 4 years old before having the surgery as they feared I would not survive the procedure at an earlier age.

The operation was a huge success and 34 years later I am attempting to cycle from London to New Zealand. To me, this is a massive thank you to the Heart Foundation for giving me the opportunity to live a life I would not have been able to live without their help.

If I can raise money to help other kids who are in the same position I was all those years ago, it would give me an immense amount of satisfaction.
