I'm participating in a 270 mile, 4 day Alpine Cycle Challenge from Zurich to Frankfurt to raise money for Alzheimer's Society. The Alpine Cycle Challenge rises to a maximum altitude of 850m with total ascents of 2,100m and a total distance of 270 miles - so it really is a challenge!

The charity is very personal to me as my father in law suffered with this horrible illness for 15 years before passing away 18 months ago. My goal is to raise £1,500 and your generosity in helping me achieve this is greatly appreciated.

The money raised by the Alpine Cycle Challenge team as part of Credit Suisse will be going towards funding the Credit Suisse Fellowship in Dementia Research - this fellowship has been awarded to a scientist that is looking into the effects of a particular gene on the development of dementia, a 3 year project that will take us another step closer to ultimately finding a cure.
