Dad was a lover of dogs, and especially the Guide Dogs. He has sponsored a puppy for the last few years - in the hope that one day he'd twist mum's arm and have one to take in for training too! 

The Guide Dogs used to train their puppies on our road when we lived in Campion Terrace - mum and dad would always take us to go and say hello to the dogs waiting for their 'walkies'.
