Story
On 17 July 2010 Andy, Jez, Simon, Jules & Bobby intend to run/jog/walk/crawl 100Km (that's approx 2.4 marathons) across the very hilly South Downs. In order for the time to count all 4 of us need to finish the full 100kms.
This is an going to be very hard with lots of training and sore feet but we are doing this in order to raise money for Oxfam and the Gurkha Welfare Trust so please give generously to make all our pain worth it! The money for the Gurkha Welfare trust goes towards building schools in Nepal and whilst Andy was posted there in 2003/2004 he responsible for building these schools. The effect the schools have on galvanising the local communities is just fantastic and something really worthwhile. A few pictures of the schools built, and those they replaced are in the photo section of this site
If you could dig deep and make this as worthwhile as possible by donating to this site we would all be grateful. We using JustGiving as a focus for our fundraising as it is simple, fast and secure plus we get the Just Giving contribution via the tax breaks, so that means more money to our charity.
