A few years ago, I knew little about Parkinson's. Now, with a family member plus three friends affected by the condition, it has made me stop to think.

Fundraising through Parkinson's UK will put money where it's most  needed ~ helping to find a cure for the condition. If together we raise £1,000, it will fund a cutting-edge research project for a week.

So I've decided to do a 1-day sponsored canal walk ~ on Sunday 2nd August 2015. The 8-mile walk starts at 11am at Tottenham Lock and follows the canal towpath down to Victoria Park for a picnic lunch, then along the Regent's Canal, with our finale at Islington about 5pm.
