Last year it was the Army Benevolent Fund that I ran the London marathon for. After that run I thought I should do a marathon for each of the three services’ benevolent funds. The RAF Benevolent Fund does great work for lots of veterans and those currently in service across the country. 

As I do my training, it's really nice that people shout encouragement once they see it's the RAF charity I'm running for. It's a little less enjoyable running with a target on my back.
