<p>Hi guys,</p> <p>As those of you who know me will be aware, I am fond of talking. A lot. In fact it's almost a compulsive habit.</p> <p>Everyone keeps telling me to shut up...so that's exactly what I am going to do. 24 hours seems too easy. So I propose to double this and be quiet for a full 48 hours, from 00.00 Saturday 3rd December to 11.59 Sunday 4th December. This includes text messages, emails, Facebook, Twitter etc. What I plan to do is write a blog of my experiences which I will publish after the silence is over.</p> <p>This is in aid of a cause very close to my heart, the National Ankylosing Spondylitis Society (NASS). My Mum has AS and thankfully major breakthroughs to halt the extent of the damage it wreaks are being made by scientists. Any funds I raise will go towards the continuation of this good work as well as the promotion of awareness of AS.</p> <p>POST SCRIPT: I managed the silence! 48 hours which got progressively more and more dull. I even went to the pub.
