What a beautiful day for a little run around our great city - shame it was all over in 4 hrs 54 mins!  So while I failed to achieve my target sub-4.30 finish time for various reasons, I have raised much needed funds for Help the Hospices in excess of £2,000 and given I have been branded an official sponsorship pest, this is a feat in itself!  Huge thanks got to my No 1 support crew + dolphin (you know who you are!) and the pure volume of support from everyone else, so if you were out there, thank you - you wouldn't believe the difference all that noise makes!

I am also pleased to announce my retirement from Marathon running - may not have been 7th time lucky but have decided to save my body for alternative outdoor challenges - open to suggestions...:)
