Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have set myself the challenge of running (well, it might include some walking!!) the 2010 Virgin London Marathon and raising funds for the Mental Health Foundation.  Founded in 1949, the Mental Health Foundation is a leading UK charity that provides information, carries out research, campaigns and works to improve services for anyone affected by mental health problems, whatever their age and wherever they live.  On the road to achieving this goal I will also be running the Bramley 20 Mile in February and the Reading Half Marathon in March.

The London Marathon has always been an event that I have wanted to take part in and I have been lucky enough to secure my own place this year and I would love to raise as much money as possible to help people suffering from mental health issues, a subject which is close to my heart.  So please help me out by sponsoring me as much as you can spare.  As they say 'Every little helps'!!.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Thanks

Jo
