Whilst you are all tucking in to your left over cold turkey and mince pies, the three of us will be flying off to Tanzania to start our challenge to walk to the summit of Kilimanjaro. Mt Kilimanjaro 'The roof of Africa' stands at 5896m , has changing unpredictable climate zones and the challenge of thinner air as you ascend for us to contend with. We will be walking for about 7 hours a day and when you are all celebrating New Year we will be climbing to the summit by torch light (and more worryingly for us with no alcohol to celebrate at the top!!) And a 12 hour walking day !!!!

Obviously a brilliant , as well as mentally and physically challenging ,adventure for us but a great opportunity fo us to support a really deserving charity - Jigsaw.
