I've been lucky enough to win a place in the BUPA Great North Run in September, Newcastle here I come!

I thought it would be a great opportunity to raise some money for a cause that's close to my heart. I've chosen the Zimbabwe Rural Schools Development Programme because I spent some of the most rewarding months of my life in Zimbabwe and South Africa, and witnessed first hand the great work done by charities who repair, supply and build schools  in rural areas.

I've been really lucky to have had an great education and sadly, in countries such as Zimbabwe it is a luxury not available to all children.
