Thanks everyone who has donated so far - the countdown is on with just 1 weeks to go to raise 25% of my target!

I am going on a bike ride, but no ordinary bike ride! I am cycling 450km across China with about 100 women and Professor Robert Winston from the TV!

This challenge is run by Women for Women and I have to raise £3,300 for the charity (before I go!)

1 in 18 babies in the UK is born prematurely

1 in 4 babies are miscarried

 

1 in 175 babies is stillborn

 

 

You will be helping me to raise money to train female scientists to improve prevention, diagnosis and treatment of a range of devastating conditions which cause genetic diseases, miscarriage, infertility, cancer and brain damage. The charity also helps women to have a normal pregnancy with a healthy baby.

 

 

250 babies die every week in the UK from complications during pregnancy, so this work has never been so essential for women and babies worldwide.

You will understand what a major personal challenge this is going to be for me but I am determined to spend the last few months training hard to complete this charity challenge with my sister.
