Story

I am partaking in two challenges during May 2010, to raise money for The Christopher Tickle Foundation.

Christopher very sadly died after suffering a serious neck injury playing rugby, for more details please see http://www.ecclesrfc.co.uk/chris-tickle.htm

As many of you know, Christopher was one of life's great guys, the life and soul of many a party, and is greatly missed by all his family and friends.

The first challenge; Saturday 8th May 2010

Glenridding  - Helvellyn Walk

This is a 'Hill Scramble' for 7.5 miles, it typically takes 6 hours.  This is the first walk of this type I have done, so it will certainly be an experience!!!!

The second challenge; Sunday 16th May 2010

BUPA Manchester 10k

I did the run last year for the first time, and finished in 1 hour 7 minutes.  This year I am aiming to run the whole way round (no stopping and starting like last year), and fingers crossed beat last years time.

The Christopher Tickle Foundation is supporting the Nicholls Foundation and all money raised on this page will go to the http://nichollsfoundation.org.uk/.

The charity is focused on raising money in order to fund innovative medical research, that they hope will lead to a repair and cure for spinal cord injury.
