Story
Thanks for visiting my fund-raising page! On April 25th I will be running the 2010 London Marathon with the aim of raising money for children and young people in care; Shaftesbury Young People is a charity committed to rebuilding young lives.
The charity I have signed up with are excellent and I am really proud to be running for them, please take the time to read through the work they do around the UK. They provide services such as residential care, leaving care and supported housing, educational support, access to employment, personal development activities, recreation and leisure. Their beneficiaries are some of the most at risk, most vulnerable and most challenging 'young people'; largely from low income families and underprivileged backgrounds.
Their work focuses on supporting and staballising young people's education, health and social and emotional well-being. This is achieved by providing guidance, structure, consistency and opportunities. Something that most normal children receive within their family. Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
