Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

For those of you who do not know I am running the BUPA Great North Run 2009 on Sunday 20th September. This is mainly because I am a stuborn sod and when told I would never be able to do it by my parents, brother and girlfriend on new years eve last year - decided to prove them wrong.

This is also a great way for me to get fit, something I have appreciated more and more since being diagnosed with ulcerative colitis back in 2007.

So please - please give as much or as little as you can afford for my fund raising efforts in aid of The Children's Society. They do awesome work with children who need a second chance, who are homless, expelled from school and who every one else has given up on. For more information on their work please visit - www.childrenssociety.org.uk also please vist my facebook group which I will try to keep udated with news on my training and fundraising to date..

Many thanks

Joey
