Story
For the third year in a row, I'm pulling on my running shoes to raise money for Over the Wall - a UK charity that provides life-changing activity camps for seriously ill children and their families.
Children living with serious illness are in and out of hospitals, away from school and home and facing frightening and uncertain treatments. Their illness robs them of their confidence and makes them uneasy among their friends and peers. Over The Wall camps help them to feel normal. They get to hang out with other children who have all kinds of illness, so they don't have to explain bald heads, scars, eye patches, crutches or anything else. And that gives them something priceless - a chance to fit in. Over The Wall opens doors to brothers & sisters too, at its very popular sibling camps. So no-one gets left out, or made to feel "special".
To all of you who have supported me in the past - thank you and I hope that you'll sponsor me again. For newcomers to this page - please watch the video to find out more about Over The Wall.
Last year you helped me raise over £700 (that's over £1,000 with Gift Aid.) This year I'd really like to break the £1,000 barrier. So please, dig deep and give all that you can for this great cause.
Thanks.
