Thank you for your interest in sponsoring me to raise funds for Nacro. The Outlaw  is an iron distance triathlon of 3.9k swim, 112 mile bike and a marathon. Its happening on 8th August 2010 at Nottingham. I've done many triathlons but this is my first at iron distance and to celebrate this I would like to raise funds for the crime reduction charity Nacro. This is the charity I work for and we do some great things supporting people who are struggling in life and at the margins of society. The focus is to provide opportunities to help them make positive life choices. We work within prisons and in the community. The work I'm responsible for in Essex includes housing 400 homeless people across the county in temporary accommodation, training and education to unemployed people in Clacton, sports work with young people in Clacton, Braintree, Chelmsford and Thurrock, (including some alternative education provision) and a mentoring service for Probation.
