Over the weekend of 22/23 September myself and 40 colleagues participated in this year's HTSE challenge. This was an attempt to cross the UK from the west to east coast (Whitehaven to Tynemouth) by bicycle in 24 hours, a total of 140 miles over varied terrain! We did it, we are all still recovering, but are now talking about next year's event!

The nominated charity to receive the majority of funds will be the Multiple Sclerosis Society, with 10% of the total donated to Sustrans who help maintain the route and is the UK's leading sustainable transport charity.
