Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This summer, sculptor Antony Gormley invites you to help create an astonishing living monument. He has asked the people of the UK to occupy the empty Fourth Plinth in Trafalgar Square in London, a space normally reserved for statues of Kings and Generals. They will become an image of themselves, and a representation of the whole of humanity.

Every hour, 24 hours a day, for 100 days without a break, a different person will make the Plinth their own.

My hour of fame will be on Wednesday 12th August from 12.00 noon until 1.00 pm

You can be involved and help in a variety of ways:

Come and support me on the day as I build a freeform sculpture from balloons. If I have the logistics correct and it's not too windy then you can blow up a balloon for the sculpture and make the event more colourful.

Donate to St Catherines. St Catherines is a residential centre of excellence for education, speech and language therapy based on the Isle of Wight. It caters for young people aged from 7 to 19 from across Britain and sometimes abroad. To learn more about St Catherines then go to their website www.stcatherines.org.uk
