Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I completed the walk yesterday and it was hard going. My legs and back ache and my feet are sore. It was over 26 miles ands the longest distance Scott has walked in a day. We started 9.30 am and finished 21.45. Scott has been walking for 43 days and I have only had a small taste of what it is like for him. Yesterday made me realise just how big his achievement is

Hi I am a 43 year old Parkinsons sufferer. I am going to walk from Newquay to Falmouth. Last year I trekked to Machu Picchu. This year I really wanted to walk the whole of the Cornish Coast but arthritis in my knee and some difficulties in walking when tired due to Parkinson's prevented me from training and made that a nonstarter. However I recently discovered that Scott Westwood was walking from John O'Groats to Land's End for Parkinson's (http://www.justgiving.com/scottwestwood2012 ) and asked if I could walk with him for a day. This is going to be a challenge for me as it is over 20 miles and I haven't walked that far in a day for over year so please sponsor me and help me raise money for Parkinson's.
