Story

How much can change in one short year.

How many lives changed forever.

This time last year, Mark and Simon were both bravely fighting their individual battles with cancer. Mark was over two years on from an initial Stage 4 diagnosis and Stroph was actually in remission and back at home after 5 months in hospital, having received a stem cell transplant, 11 months after being diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia.

Sadly both of my dear friends lost their battles, leaving kids without their dads, wives without partners and families missing a loved one. Mark passed away in April and Stroph in October. Cancer, you are a f*cker.

So this year I'm running to celebrate the lives of my two friends and to raise money for Macmillan Cancer support, to help them in their amazing work to provide physical, emotional and financial support to those living with cancer.

Thanks so much for anything you may be able to donate and RIP Harv and Stroph. Always missed and never forgotten x
