Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

For 2019, I'm attempting to go a full year without a drop of alcohol...

Why...

...In 2015 my dad was diagnosed with a rare, degenerative brain disorder called Progressive Supranuclear Palsy...

What is Progressive Supranuclear Palsy?

PROGRESSIVE: it gets worse

SUPRANUCLEAR: it effects the brain

PALSY: it effects muscle movement

Dad loved a drink so would be very disappointed in me I'm sure.

I'm raising money to fund research into this rare condition that effects fewer than 4000 people in the UK and doesn't currently have a cure...

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - your money is sent directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please donate whatever you can, I'm donating £10 per week I remain 'hang over free' and a few people with very little faith me have very generously pledged to match this!

Thanks from everyone effected by this cruel disease!

Jon

P.s. My fundraising target is £10 per day, 10% of my usual booze budget :-)
