After 11 years leading the team at Coventry Youth for Christ, I'm still as passionate as I ever was to see young lives changed by Jesus.

A key part of our work is engaging with young people in schools through our Rock-Up project. It's awesome to be able to support young people through music tuition and performance. Seeing young people develop their creative skills and have opportunities to explore the big questions of life is an amazing privilege. Unfortunately our staffing costs far outweigh our monthly income (which all comes from local individual and church donations) meaning that we need to secure more funds to enable this vital work to continue.

In August I'll be cycling the length of the UK to raise funds and awareness of our project. I'll be riding in an endurance (non-stop) relay with 7 other cyclists to complete the whole 850 mile Land's End to John O'Groats route in just 64 hours. It's a massive challenge, but one that I believe is worth taking on to see our work flourish across the city.
