This is a race I have wanted to take part in for some time.  Having taken part in the Ironman 70.3 in 2009, this was the obvious next step up, and to be able to raise money for a charity like Hospicecare at the same time will make it all the more worthwhile. The race consists of a 2.4 mile open water swim, followed by a 112 mile cycle and finishing with a 26.2 mile run and is being held in Bolton on 4th August 2013.

The work Hospicecare carries out helps so many families in their time of need, and I am sure that we all know of someone who has benefited from their care, so please give as as much as you can afford and help me towards my fundraising target.
