Story
Finished!! In the rain and driving wind we managed to make it around all 80m of the course, many thanks to everyone who helped (especially John Dickinson and Pete who waited for at the top of every steep climb). Thanks for all your donations a really great amount to raise for an equally great cause. Thanks.
Anyone interested in the route you can see it at http://connect.garmin.com/activity/9826235
Hope next year the sun make it out.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I have decided at the last minute (2wks to train!) to ride in the Bill Bradley Memorial Ride which takes in the landscape and hills of Lancashire including some challenging terrain through The Trough of Bowland. Whilst obviously this ride should be an enjoyable event I wanted to make it even more rewarding by hopefully raising some much needed funds for the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
A good friend of my wife's was diagnosed with this disease around 5yrs ago at a time that her and her husband were starting off in life with a new family and shouldn't have had a care in the World. Her courage and determination have been an inspiration to all that know her and her family and the MNDA have helped and supported her with her condition. Her family are also raising money by pushing her around in a wheel chair in The Great North Run in September '09 and hopefully my small effort can help contribute to the total donation.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now. I really appreciate any donations no matter how small (or how large!).
Thanks
Jonathan
