Queen Mary’s Maternity Unit at West Middlesex Hospital working with West London Sands wish to create a Bereavement Suite to provide facilities and enable professional and specialist support to take place in a quieter, more homely space. 

We have recently built the new, bespoke bereavement Suite and wish to provide the best facilities to enable professional and specialist support to take place in a quieter, more homely space. 

West London Sands has been working closely with this Unit at West Middlesex Hospital since January 2000 and now wish to raise donations towards the project.

It is intended that the new Bereavement Suite will provide a delivery room with sleeping area for both parents/partners, an en-suite bathroom and an adjoining area to care for babies who have passed away.  We also hope to provide space for siblings, which will allow precious time together as a family.

I have just signed up for a ten mile road race in Twickenham to raise money.  The money raised will help in decorating, furnishing and supplying necessary equipment for our newly built bereavement room.
