Hi everybody,

In memory of my friend Andreia who died a year ago in a tragic bicycle accident, I am joining her family on the anniversary of her death to retrace her last steps.

Andreia died whilst training for the Prince's Trust's palace to palace bike ride when a driver hit her and she was instantly killed. Unbelievably, a year has now passed and we are going to walk the route she took from Ascot to Windsor and back (around 26 miles or 42km) to celebrate her life and the great person she was.

I would like to use this opportunity to raise money for the RoadPeace charity, who support victims of road accidents and help to prevent future victims by campaigning for safer roads.
