Chris died last week from a haemorrhagic stroke.  We are setting this fund up in his memory for people attending his funeral, and for anyone else who would like to donate to the charity.

During the latter part of his career, Chris became heavily involved in an organisation called Healthcare Professionals for Assisted Dying and their campaign for Dignity in Dying, and lobbied on their behalf at Holyrood and in Westminster.  Compassion in Dying is an associated charity which helps people to plan for the end of their lives with advice and support on how to discuss their thoughts and wishes with loved ones, and how to write their own living will.
