Story

Thanks for visiting my Just Giving page. It's easy to donate here and any donation between £1 - £5 would be gratefully accepted!

Thanks to you all who have donated so far and those that will donate now. Many thanks. Justin x

Cause:

My friend recently spent her final days in Salisbury Hospicecare Trust. It's a lovely place that caters for terminally ill Cancer patients in their final weeks. The people who work there work extremely hard to make sure patients and visitors are comfortable, cared for and well informed. This trust relies heavily on public donations.

Event:

Bath-Honeystreet Canal Cycle Ride. About 25 of us will be cycling along the Canal waterways of Wiltshire on May 15-16th. Beginning in Bath we will cycle 30 miles to Honeystreet (near Pewsey), pitching our tents for an overnight stay and then cycling back the following day. Its not quite John O'Groates to Lands End but its not an easy ride for cycling novices (as most of us are).

About the charity

The hospice costs £2.9 million to run, with Salisbury Hospice Charity aiming to raise £1.5 million of the funding required. Over 1,000 people a year are helped both in the hospice and in the wider community. Without your help this could not have been achieved. Thank you.
