Caroline and I are both running in the London Royal Parks Half Marathon on behalf of Rays of Sunshine Children's Charity who provide wishes for seriously and terminally children and their families.
One of the wishes that I am trying to fund is:
Jacob, aged 9 from Somerset
Condition – Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy
Jacob’s wish is to watch Chelsea play and meet the team
Jacob is a typical 9 year old who loves football and playing with his friends. Jacob uses his wheelchair most of the time, as he struggles with his walking and falls over frequently. Jacob tries to participate in games and football, but he finds this difficult and gets frustrated.The cost of fulfilling Jacob’s wish is £1000
