I am taking part in a fund raising event to raise money for a children’s hospice in Wales called Tŷ Hafan.
Tŷ Hafan is so much more than just a place where terminally ill children can spend their final days in comfort. The hospice also offers care and support for families and siblings during such a tremendously difficult time.
Since becoming Managing Director of Bon Bon Buddies in March 2015, I have wanted to support Tŷ Hafan as its BBB’s employees charity of choice. Being a father of two kids, the hospice has special meaning for every parent and shows how precious life can be and how short time is for some very unfortunate families.
To fund raise, I will be taking part in Tough Mudder on Saturday the 22nd August. Tough Mudder is a huge challenge involving 20 extreme obstacles over 12 miles [19 km], which all play on common human fears, such as fire, water, electricity and heights. Read more here.
To merely stay open, Tŷ Hafan need to raise £3.7 million every year and I would really appreciate your support and any donations in advance to help a truly amazing charity.
