The Howard League for Penal Reform is a national charity working for less crime, safer communities and fewer people in prison. 

They work with parliament and the media, with criminal justice professionals, students and members of the public, influencing debate and forcing through meaningful change to create safer communities.

They campaign on a wide range of issues including short term prison sentences, real work in prison, children in prison and community sentences.

U R Boss provide a unique legal service for children and young people in custody to secure their legal rights and a national participation project for young people to have an impact on policy, practice and the services that affect them.
