We give practical & emotional support to victims and witnesses of crime

Story

Kilmarnock Amateur Operatic Society are delighted to have chosen Victim Support Scotland as our supported charity for the 2022/23 season!

Victim Support Scotland provides information, practical help, emotional support and guidance for those harmed by crime. They help people navigate their way through the criminal justice system, offering specialist services to help victims and their families with crimes including murder, terrorism, rape and sexual assault, domestic violence and hate crime.

They empower people to cope with the aftermath of a crime and find the strength to move forward with their lives.  The committee felt that it was a fitting charity as our lead character, Dolores, in our 2023 production Sister Act, is placed in witness protection.

KAOS are looking forward to fundraising for Victim Support Scotland starting with our quiz night which was held on Monday 17th October 2022.  A bucket collection will also be available during our show week but you are more than welcome to donate online now

Thank you for your support,

KAOS
