Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!!
On 7th May 2011 I will begin my trek of the Great Wall of China to raise money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association (www.mndassociation.org).
Like a huge dragon, the Wall winds its way through deserts, basins, plains and mountains of North China extending over 6,350 km (3,947 miles), from the bank of Yalu River (cross-border river with North Korea) to Jiayuguan of Gansu Province. In Chinese, the Great Wall is called Cháng-chéng, literally "long wall".
To complete this challenge I will be trekking for up to 7 hours per day for 6 continuous days! This equates to around 130 miles in total (HELP!).
Please help me to raise lots of money for this fantastic charity to help sufferers of this terrible disease. There is currently no cure for Motor Neurone Disease so lets help fund research into finding one!
Every penny will count!
Thank you,
Kate xx
