Mission Accomplished !
A big thanks to everyone who sponsored me for the Alpine Cycle Challenge.
On Monday I completed the epic 4 day cycle from Zurich to Frankurt. It covered some 295 miles (475 km) with an ascent over 2000 metres in very hot conditions. It was a truly tough ride averaging over 70 miles a day. There was plenty of amusement along the way with some team members falling off their bikes due to the troublesome bicycle shoe cleats (the ones that attach to the pedal). Thankfully I just wore trainers and so escaped unscathed.
It was a real memorable experience.
(see some pics attached).
thanks again

ps its not too late if you want to donate !
Alpine Cycle Challenge
In early July I embark on 4 day cycling expedition from Zurich to Frankfurt to raise money for the Alzheimer's Society. The mission will take me through the hazardous terrain of the Black Forest into France over the Rhine and on to Frankfurt. The journey is around 270 miles with an ascent of 2000 metres.
I aim to raise a hefty total of £1500 for this worthy charity and with your help I hope will get there. Any donations are gratefully received.
many thanks
Kev
