Story
Thank you for taking the time too look at this page.
As many of you will already be aware, my Dad and I are deeply affected by Motor Neurone Disease as my mother (Peters wife) has been suffering from the disease for the past 3 years, and we have also had three others in our life that have been or are continuing to suffer from this terrible illness.
Only four in 100,000 people ever contract this illness, there is currently no cure and the disease is terminal with the average life expectancy after diagnosis being around 18 months to five years.
My mum is the bravest lady I know and is continuing to battle the disease, even though she has lost all mobility, the ability to eat, and is losing the ability too talk. She has surpassed all the doctors expectations because she has hope, this comes from us as a family and from many of you as friends. But unfortunately in life hope isnt enough, we need to continue raising money for this charity to enable researchers to find a cure for this awful disease, to allow those suffering the best possible quality of life and to hopefully one day make sure that no one has to suffer in the same way we are.
And it is for this reason that my Dad and I are running/walking the London Marathon this year in aid of the Motor Neurone Disease Association, for my Mum.
Please if you could find the time to support us on our effort to raise as much money as possible we would really appreciate it.
Thank you again for your time and support
Warmest wishes
Kyrie and Peter Feltham
