Story
KPMG team and clients take to the skies....
On July 26 2009, we will be plucking up the courage to jump out of a plane at 10,000ft to help raise money for The Alzheimer's Society.
I am reliably informed that all participants with be issued with the requisite club K parachutes along with the accompanying 14 page checklist for operation.
Our intrepid team of adventurers have already made massive commitments to their training regimes:
Andrew Burn has been closing his eyes and jumping as the lift goes down from the top floor in the office - not quite the weightless sensation but still….
Cathryn Hayhurst has been practicing the imbibing of the necessary drinks for Dutch courage - indeed some would say she has been practicing for her whole adult life for this moment.
Katie Charlton has taken steps to have twin airbags fitted to break the fall if necessary
Andrew Denton has pre booked his bed at the NHS in the event of any mishap.
The team in full includes:
Katie Charlton (KPMG), Andrew Burn (KPMG), Andrew Lister (KPMG), Jo Harris (KPMG), Mark Ward (KPMG), Linda Elliott (KPMG), Jez Robinson (KPMG), Claire Forbes (KPMG), David Dylan (KPMG), Pippa Moxham (KPMG), Sarah King (KPMG), David Hardwick (KPMG), Jonathan Sharp (KPMG), James Forrest (KPMG), Cathryn Hayhurst (Barclays/KPMG), Graham Hall (DWF), Mark Dawson (Halliwells).
The charity we are supporting is The Alzheimers Society which does amazing work in offering support to sufferers and their families as well as funding vital research into this condition.
You cannot begin to imagine how much round the clock care and support is required for people diagnosed with dementia, let alone the costs involved and the impact this has on family and friends.

Please spare a couple of minutes to help us reach our target for a truly great cause.
Thank you
