Story

Thank you for having a look at my page.

I am running this year for Prostate Scotland. I did the BUPA 10 mile Edinburgh run on 27th April and I will be doing the Edinburgh half marathon on 25th May.

I chose to support Prostate Scotland this year, in memory of my stepdad Alan who died in early 2012. Alan had put up with prostate cancer for a number of years but never complained and was always ready with a joke and a smile. He really was one of life's true gentlemen and we miss him a lot.

1 in 2 men in Scotland will experience prostate disease at some stage in their life and prostate cancer is actually the most common cancer for men in Scotland. So it will affect most of us at some point.Prostate Scotland provides information, advice and support to men in Scotland. It also try to influence Scottish policy and research. You can find out more about what they do here: http://www.prostatescotland.org.uk/
