I am raising money for St Barnabas Hospice by trekking the Great Wall of China in October 2010 and I really need your support....and most importantly your cash!!

St Barnabas is a hospice in Worthing, West Sussex that provides palliative care for adults with cancer and other progressive, and sadly terminal, diseases. They cared for my grandparents and so this is a charity very dear to my heart.

The current hospice building has been open for 37 years and a brand new facility is now needed. All proceeds from my trek will go towards the provision of a patient’s bedroom at the new hospice – each bedroom costs a staggering £48,300!!   

I will be completing a 5 day trek along the Great Wall of China and so I am going to have very tired feet by the end!! Part of the trek will involve walking over watch-towers and battlements and the 1,000 steps at Mutinayu – not for the faint hearted!

So if you can dig deep and donate as much as you can spare to help me towards my target to raise £3000 I will be most grateful!
