My next challenge has been set - this time to trek across Ethiopia next year and at the same time raise raise money for Transaid.  A fantastic charity that seeks to reduce poverty and improve the quality of life through providing better access to essential basic services like health, education and economic opportunities throughout Africa.

The money I raise through your kind donations will help improve driver training with the aim to reduce the number of accidents and road crashes in Zambia where road deaths are the third biggest killer after HIV/AIDS and malaria. The money will also help to tackle child and maternal mortality by improving access to healthcare throughout Nigeria.

Before you think, is that one of those events where my money will also pay for Karen... The answer is no.  All money that I raise through this site will go to Transaid.
